Both versions are tough, reusable, and built for long‑term printing.
🔧 Recommended Materials

ABS: Best choice. Handles heat from dryers and high‑temp filaments without warping.

PETG: Great all‑rounder. Strong, stable, and safe for most environments.

PLA: Only if you never use a filament dryer. PLA can warp or even soften when heated, which can deform the spool.
🔁 Reuse It Forever
Once you’ve printed your spool holder, you’re set. When a roll runs out, just slide the holder into your next refill, no need to print another one. One print. Endless refills. Less waste. More printing.
Prefer not to print your own? You can also buy a pre‑printed spool holder from the DaringColt store and reuse it forever.
